Totally awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies from outer space. Crispy edges and chewy middles.
First up sift all dry ingredients except the Chocolate into a bowl. In a separate bowl mix both sugars with the melted butter until it becomes creamy. Add the egg and the egg yolk, continue mixing.
If all is combined add the sifted part and mix. The dough should be sticky enough to shape balls out of it, if not add water or flour.
Knead in the chocolate chips. Alternatively you could use fruits or nuts.
Bake at 165°C/325°F for about 15 minutes or until the edges are slightly crispy. Depending on the size of the cookies time may vary.
Let them cool on the tray for chewier or on a rack for more crispier cookies.
The fresh dough can be refrigerated for at least one week for daily fresh baked cookies.
Enjoy!
