Hawaiian Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
For the Skewers

  • Chicken Breast
  • Pineapple
  • Bell Pepper
  • Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Salt, Pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp. Curry
  • 1 Lime squeezed
  • Some Pineapple Juice
For the Sauce

  • 250ml Cream
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Oregano
  • 1 tbsp. Curry
  • Some Pineapple Juice

Fruity marinaded Chicken Skewers the Hawaiian Style. Topped with a creamy Pineapple-Curry-Sauce. Great for grilling and frying.

First cut the Chicken Breast into big chunks and season it in a bowl with Salt, Pepper, Paprika and Curry. Now squeeze in the Lime and add some Pineapple Juice.
Mix well and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight to get a more intense flavor.

While the Chicken marinades cut the Onion, Bell Pepper and the Pineapple to about the size of the Chicken.

Build your skewers the way you like, we made O-C-P-B (Onion-Chicken-Pineapple-Bellpepper…)

Fry or grill the skewers on medium heat until done and nicely browned. If fried in a pan you can make a sauce afterwards with the remaining juices from frying.
For that pour in the cream and season with Salt, Oregano and Curry. Cook until thickened.

Ready to serve on Rice, Potatoes or anything you like.
