A super delicious alternative to the regular burger is the greek burger. Beef filled with feta cheese and Tzatziki sauce topped with red onions between freshly baked Ciabatta.
To make this delightful Burger we first prepare our patties. Mix the ground beef with the Gyro Spice Blend and crumbled the feta cheese.
Form out two patties and place them in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up, so later they keep their shape while frying.
For the tzatziki sauce shred about 2/3 of a cucumber and salt it, so the sauce won’t get too watery later on. Let it stand for at least 10 minutes. In a separate bowl mix quark with yogurt and add finely crushed garlic. Now give the whole thing a taste with Salt, Pepper, Sugar and Lime Juice. Stir in the squeezed cucumbers and let it sit for about an hour.
Now take out the patties from the freezer and fry them in a pan over medium high heat for about 3 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the patties.
Build up the burger on ciabatta with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, the delicious pattie and red onions. Serve with potato chips or Fries.
Enjoy!
