It’s Cheddar wrapped in a slice of Toast wrapped in Bacon. Fried or baked. Perfect Party Food or for Breakfast with some Eggs.
Sometimes the easiest things are the best. So is this recipe.
Start by cut the Cheese into sticks a little shorter than the slice of Toast. Remove the crust of the Toast so we can flatten out the slice better.
Roll out the slice of Toast with a rolling pin and roll in some Cheese. No matter what Cheese. Works good with Cheddar, Mozzarella, Gouda and even with Cream Cheese.
Now wrap around one or two slices of Bacon and they’re ready for frying or baking.
Start frying them without any additional oil or fat in a cold pan. Turn on on medium till medium-high heat. For baking at 250°C/480°F with convection gives the best and most even crispy Bacon.
Serve with some Dips or for Breakfast with some Eggs.
