Penne al Tonno

For the Sloppy Mass

  • 250g Penne
  • 200g Canned Tomatoes
  • 150g Canned Tuna
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Basil, Oregano, Thyme
  • Lime Juice

Super fast and easy Tuna-Tomato-Penne Recipe. Based on a traditional Italian Pasta Recipe.

We start with sautéing the Chopped Onions and Bell Peppers in some Olive or Vegetable Oil over medium to medium-high heat. Fry them for about 5 minutes then add the minced Garlic and the Canned Tuna. Cook for another few minutes and add the Canned Tomatoes. Season with Salt and Pepper, refine with herbs of your choice e.g. Basil, Oregano and Thyme.

Let the sauce cook down a little and add the Lime Juice. After that stir in the already cooked Penne (or any other kind of Pasta).

Ready to eat.

Serve with Cheese as topping. Also good as a “Lasagna”.
